Abstract: Electrochemical workstations were used to detect the electrochemical corrosivity of hot-rolled 347H stainless steel, solution pickled 347H stainless steel and solution treated 347H stainless steel in corrosive media 3.5wt.%NaCl, 5%wt.%H2SO4 and 5wt.%NaOH.The effect of solution treatment on the electrochemical corrosion behavior of 347H stainless steel was studied by drawing polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The results showed that in the 3.5wt.%NaCl corrosion medium, solid solution pickling 347H stainless steel shows the best corrosion resistance, while solid solution treatment reduces the corrosion resistance of 347H stainless steel. In 5wt.%H2SO4 corrosion medium, corrosion resistance through 1 160 ℃ solid solution treatment with 2 h,347H stainless steel has been improved. The self-corrosion current density of hot-rolled 347H stainless steel in 5wt.%NaOH corrosion medium is an order of magnitude smaller than that of other 347H stainless steel. Therefore, hot-rolled 347H stainless steel is more resistant to corrosion of 5wt.%NaOH corrosion medium.
