Journal of Lanzhou University of Technology is a comprehensive academic journal in the natural sciences, sponsored by Lanzhou University of Technology. First published in 1975, it is distributed both domestically and internationally. The journal features columns including Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Power Engineering, Chemical and Light Industries, Automation Technology and Computer Technology, Architectural Science, and Mathematical and Physical Sciences. It is a source journal for China's Scientific and Technical Paper Statistics, a source journal for the Chinese Science Citation Database, and a source journal for the Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database. Since 1987, the journal has been successively included in authoritative domestic and international databases and abstract journals, such as Chemical Abstracts (CA) (USA), Abstract Journal (PЖ) (Russia), Chinese Chemical Literature Database, Chinese Mathematical Abstracts, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Abstracts, and Machinery Manufacturing Abstracts. In 2001, it entered the "China Periodical Square" and was recognized as a core journal of Chinese science and technology. In 2003, it was awarded the "Second National Journal Award – Top 100 Key Journals." In 2008, the journal was admitted to the EI Candidate List.
