I. Scope and Content
This journal primarily publishes academic papers in natural sciences and engineering technologies, including but not limited to Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Power Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Light Industry, Automation Technology and Computer Technology, Architectural Science, and Mathematical and Physical Sciences. Authors from both domestic and international institutions are warmly welcome to submit. The journal's sole submission system is available at: https://journal.lut.edu.cn/.
II. Submission Agreement
1) This journal strictly prohibits duplicate submissions, repeated submissions of substantially similar content (including submissions in different languages), and plagiarism. If any of the above violations are found, the manuscript will be rejected, the author(s) will be prohibited from submitting to this journal for three years, the affiliated institution will be notified for serious disciplinary action, and other peer journals will be informed.
2) Submissions should demonstrate novelty, clear thematic focus, logical hierarchy, accurate data, rigorous reasoning, and concise, fluent language. The manuscript should fully embody innovation, academic merit, scientific rigor, standardization, and readability. Manuscripts should be formatted in Word, on A4 paper with left and right margins of 20 mm, top margin of 26 mm, and bottom margin of 16 mm. Submissions must be uploaded through the journal's submission system.
3) On the registration page, authors must provide the corresponding author's name, affiliation, full mailing address, postal code, email address, and contact telephone number for the delivery of sample issues.
4) All submissions must be accompanied by the completed "Author Declaration (including Copyright Transfer and Confidentiality Review)" as required by this journal. The declaration form can be downloaded from the attachment section of this guide. Manuscripts submitted without the Author Declaration will not be sent for review.

6) Upon acceptance, all authors are deemed to have transferred the following rights to the Editorial Office of the *Journal of Lanzhou University of Technology*: reproduction rights, distribution rights, compilation rights, text revision rights, translation rights, and information network dissemination rights. This transfer covers all languages and is worldwide in scope, and the Editorial Office is authorized to further license these rights to third parties.
III. Manuscript Requirements
1) The manuscript must include the following elements: title, author name(s), author affiliation(s), postal code, abstract, keywords (all of the above in both Chinese and English, with corresponding translations), Chinese Library Classification (CLC) number, main text (in 5pt Song typeface), and references. A footnote on the lower left corner of the first page must contain the first author's brief biography (name, year of birth, gender, place of origin, degree, and professional title). If the manuscript is supported by a funded project, the fund name and grant number must also be indicated in the footnote.
2) Title: The title should accurately and concisely reflect the specific content of the paper, adhering to principles for compiling bibliographies, indexes, and keyword selection. Non-standard abbreviations and codes should not be used, and acronyms should not be listed alongside their full forms. Chinese titles should generally not exceed 20 Chinese characters; English titles should correspond to the Chinese title.
3) Abstract: The abstract should be informative, covering the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions (approximately 300 words). It should be self-contained and independent, not merely a simple list of content or data. The abstract must be written in the third person; terms such as "this paper," "the author(s)," "we," or "I" should not be used as subjects. Figures, tables, and references should not be cited within the abstract, and interpretive or self-evaluative content should be avoided. The English abstract should correspond to the Chinese abstract in meaning and also be written in the third person.
4) Keywords: Select 3 to 5 standardized keywords, preferably from the *Chinese Thesaurus*. Keywords should be separated by semicolons. Chinese and English keywords must correspond to each other.
5) Chinese Library Classification (CLC) Number: The CLC number should be selected from the Chinese Library Classification* based on the main content of the paper.
6) Main Text: Physical quantities and units of measurement (including those in figures and tables) must comply with national and international standards. Letters from different alphabets, font styles, cases, superscripts and subscripts, and easily confused letters should be clearly written. Figures and tables should be self-explanatory and appear in proximity to their first citation in the text. Color figures must be submitted in original color format, with a resolution of at least 150 dpi when inserted into the manuscript (after acceptance, original figures with a resolution greater than 300 dpi must be provided). Figures must conform to drafting standards; all text, symbols, and scale values on axes must be clearly legible, and axis labels should use standard physical quantities and unit symbols. Tables must be formatted as "three-line tables." The content of tables should not duplicate that of figures or text. Table titles and figure captions must be provided in both Chinese and English.
7) Section Numbering: The manuscript should use a three-level heading system with left alignment. First-level headings are numbered 1, 2, 3, ...; second-level headings are numbered 1.1, 1.2, ...; 2.1, 2.2, ...; third-level headings are numbered 1.1.1, 1.1.2, ...; 2.1.1, 2.1.2, ... The introduction should not be numbered.
8) References: Only previously published works should be listed in the references, using the sequential numbering system (numbered in the order they appear in the text). Internal documents, private communications, and unpublished manuscripts should not be cited. All listed references must be cited sequentially at the corresponding points in the main text.

Note on Author Names in References: For references with three or fewer authors, list all authors. For references with four or more authors, list the first three authors followed by "et al."
