Design of high-Q band-pass filter using Wen-bridge oscillator

Abstract: Based on the single resistor tuned Wen-bridge oscillator, first, the oscillation conditions and oscillation frequency of the oscillator are derived. Moreover, two design schemes of the second-order band-pass filter are given. The advantage of the first design scheme is that the pole frequency can be adjusted by a single resistor, while the advantage of the second scheme is that the pole frequency and quality factor can be adjusted separately. Both schemes can realize two band-pass outputs and adjust the resistance to make the circuit oscillate, which the oscillation conditions and oscillation frequency can be adjusted separately. The designed circuit is proved to be correct and effective by computer simulation.
